Services

Considered output for the considered yacht.

Surge Studio offers four production services for superyachts: cinematic film, editorial photography, aerial / drone work, and creative direction. Each engagement is shaped to a single charter season or refit cycle — no off-the-shelf packages.

Common questions

What brokers ask.

  • What's a typical turnaround for a charter film?

Eight weeks from final shoot day to delivered film, including one round of revisions. Express turnarounds (4 weeks) are available with prior notice and a surcharge; we don't take rush jobs that compromise the edit.

  • Where do you shoot?

Worldwide. Most engagements run in the Mediterranean (May–Oct) and the Caribbean (Nov–Apr); we've also worked in Northern Europe and the Pacific. Travel is included in the engagement quote.

  • Do you shoot on-board with your own crew?

Yes — a two-person team for film, one for stills. STCW certified, familiar with charter etiquette and shipyard protocols. We bring our own equipment and don't crowd the back deck.

  • What licence comes with the deliverables?

A non-exclusive licence for digital marketing, brokerage listings, and charter promotion. Broadcast or commercial-campaign use is licensed separately. Surge Studio retains a portfolio licence unless suppressed in writing before the shoot.

  • What's the deliverable format?

Films delivered as ProRes 422 master plus Vimeo-ready H.264 — vertical and 16:9 cuts included. Photography delivered as full-resolution JPEGs and web-optimised JPEGs via a private gallery. Frame.io review links during the edit.
